Langwith man broke window at home he shared with former partner as he tried to retrieve belongings

Kingsley Martin Radford had been rowing with the woman about money at the address in Burlington Avenue, Langwith Junction on May 26 and had stormed out, Chesterfield Magistrates’ Court was told on Thursday, September 3.
He returned a short time later with his aunt to collect his belongings and, when she wouldn’t let him in, he punched a window, causing it to crack, said Michael Little, prosecuting.

Hide AdSpeaking in his own defence Radford, 28, now of Ridgeway, Langwith Junction, said: “I’ve moved on with my life and I don’t even speak to her anymore.”
Radford was given a two-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £80 in compensation, £85 costs and a £22 victim surcharge.
