Final deadline for Mansfield shoppers to collect Shop for Schools points
The initiative – which sees shoppers at the town’s Four Seasons Shopping Centre earn points in the hope of raising cash for one of 30 schools in the area - has been bailed as its most successful yet as it enters its final week.
Pupils and parents have until Tuesday, April 19, to collect and donate points for their favourite school – and help boost their chance of winning the top prize of £3,000.

Hide AdRebekah O’Neill, centre manager, said: “We knew from the immediate reaction by schools wishing to join in that this year’s campaign was going to be one of our most successful, but we have been amazed by the response.
“We have had thousands of points collected already, and although there are a few schools leading the way at the moment this final week really could prove crucial.”
Under the scheme, shoppers exchange receipts for points – with every pound spent at Four Seasons earning a point to post in their chosen school’s special post box near the customer services desk.
At the end of the month-long campaign, the school with the most points will win the first prize of £3,000 to invest in anything from play equipment or text books to training for teachers. The runner-up will receive £1,000, while all participating schools will receive a Grow Your Own Vegetables box to help establish their own vegetable patches.

Hide AdLeas Park Junior School and Wynndale Primary School are currently on top, but there is still plenty of time for this to change.
Rebekah said: “The final bonus points voucher – worth 100 extra points – appears in the Chad this week.
“Anyone shopping at Four Seasons this Sunday will receive triple points too, so the leading school could change several times between now and the end of the campaign.
“This has been an amazingly popular year for Shop For Schools, which is now in its twelfth year, and we’re excited about naming the winners in just more than a week’s time.”
