Get advance notice of roadworks across Nottinghamshire
The interactive map, which can be found on the County Council website – www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk – shows all current and planned road works.
Motorists can search for a town or village or just zoom into the map to see individual road works schemes taking place.

The County Council is responsible for co-ordinating road works around the county to make sure that any delays are kept to a minimum.
Sometimes an emergency road repair will be needed, for example to fix a broken gas pipe, and delays will be unavoidable.
Advance notice boards are erected for all County Council-funded major road works. Temporary advance advisory signs such as ‘Work starts here’ are put in place at least two weeks before work is set to begin and are removed once work is complete and replaced with a scheme sign showing contractors name and emergency contact details.
Works carried out by the utilities are not controlled by the County Council, although a small percentage of their work is inspected in order to maintain standards.
