A man has been arrested after a Mansfield road was closed for five hours over concerns for a person's safety.
On Thursday, December 14 the A617 closed near Rainworth between Southwell Road West and Kirklington Road was closed but the road has now been reopened and a man has been arrested.
A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said: “A man has been arrested in connection with the incident which reached a safe conclusion at around 6.15pm and no injuries have been reported.”
