Rocket Man has Newark lift off
Frank, of Richmond Road, marked 10 years since his last big public rocket launch with another event at Newark Air Museum on Sunday.
The aim was to launch a rocket of up to eight-feet in length, but unfortunately it was too windy to get an aircraft of that size up in the air.

Hide AdSaid Frank (60): “We flew a couple of rockets but couldn’t launch the rockets as big as we wanted because it was just too gusty. However it was quite successful really, apart from the wind.”
Television cameras and radio broadcasts also followed Frank’s latest endeavours.
He added: “The main thing is it gave me a chance to get this stuff out of the loft, dust it off and see if we can still do it. I am going to go for a bigger rocket but it won’t be until next year.”
