Residents in Mansfield will be able to grab a Covid-19 jab and get health and wellbeing advice without an appointment at a series of pop-up clinics.

The NHS Covid-19 vaccination team will be hosting pop-up clinics at a number of locations including:

Wednesday, December 14, 10am-4pm – Trowell Court Community Centre, Bellamy estate, Mansfield;

Thursday, December 15, 10am-4pm – Robert Bye Way car park, Market Warsop;

There is the chance to grab a Covid-19 jab at Health and Wellbeing pop-ups in the Mansfield area.

Friday, December 16, 10am-4pm – Oak Tree Leisure Centre, Jubilee Way South, Oak Tree, Mansfield.

The NHS will be offering first, second and autumn Booster jabs to all eligible adults aged 16 and over from the mobile clinic.

The health and wellbeing team will also be available to answer vaccination-related questions, give health and wellbeing advice, signpost to local services and listen to any concerns.

Julia Rosevear, Covid-19 vaccination programme vaccination service locality manager, said: “We will be at a number of sites around Mansfield to offer vaccinations and answer any questions from the public.

“It will be a chance to get your immunity topped up ahead of the Christmas period when we know nasty illnesses spread quickly.

“The Covid-19 Autumn Booster vaccine is being offered to the most vulnerable people in our communities to help keep their immunity topped up against the virus.

“The teams will also be able to give first and second doses for anyone who is yet to come forward.

“It is never too late to get vaccinated so I encourage anyone interested to pop down and have a chat with our friendly team.”
