Aaron O’Driscoll is aiming to firmly establish himself in the Mansfield Town starting eleven.

The 21 year-old Dubliner has signed a two-year deal with Stags following a success trial at the One Call Stadium.

And O’Driscoll, who came through the ranks in Southampton’s academy, is now keen to make a name for himself in the men’s game.

"League Two is a tough physical league but I am ready for the challenge,” he said.

"All the lads really want to push on and get promoted. I want to establish myself in the team, get games under my belt and impress the fans.

“This is the next step for me. I developed well at Southampton but I need to develop in men's football now and this is a great chance for me to push on."

And O’Driscoll says he feels like he is already part of the furniture at Mansfield.
