With hours of rainfall already, the Environment Agency has warned that some areas could be prone to flooding, including the Sherwood Forest Caravan Park at Clipstone, Edwinstowe, Ollerton, Whitewater Lane at Whitewater Bridge and West Drayton.
River levels are expected to swell throughout Monday.
A spokesman said: “We are continuing to monitor the situation with operational staff out checking watercourses and clearing debris screens.”

Hide AdWinter returned with a vengeance this morning as snow, sleet, rain and gale force winds battered the region.
A severe weather warning for the region was put in place by the Met Office as Storm Katie continues to sweep across the country.
However, the south bore the brunt of the inclement weather with flights having to be re-routed to more northern airports, including East Midlands.
But a brighter end to the Easter holidays is expected as the rain clears by late morning, although temperatures are expected to struggle reaching a high of just 7c.
