King’s Mill volunteers raise thousands for hospital dementia appeal
Recent donations include a cheque for £6,000 presented to the appeal by The Voluntary Services team .
The Voluntary Services Dafodil Café volunteers handed over £3,000 and there was a £3,000 donation from Ward Trolley Service volunteers.

Hide AdJill Smallwood, Vice-Chairman of the King’s Mill Hospital Voluntary Services team said: “The volunteers all support the Dementia Care Appeal wholeheartedly, especially as some have friends or relatives living with dementia.
“We are really pleased to be able to donate £6,000 to the Appeal and thank all those who have purchased items in our sales and tombolas.”
The Voluntary Services Spring Fayre held on 3rd April raised £577.00 and involved volunteers manning various stalls in the King’s Treatment Centre including a raffle, tombola, handicraft, books and bric a brac.
A Voluntary Services Easter Raffle raised £336.20 and was really well supported by staff, patients and visitors and a huge Easter egg donated by the Rotary Club raised £76.
