Mansfield and Ashfield: Pedal power peaking for Parkinson’s
Richard Candlin, Andrew Charles and Alex Etches, of Mansfield Woodhouse, Matt Halfpenny, of Mansfield, and Richard Eldridge, of Sutton, have been training for their challenge since January.
They take on their challenge this weekend, starting off at Tower Bridge on day one and journeying 73 miles south to Newhaven.

Hide AdThey will then take the ferry overnight before riding a further 129 miles from Dieppe and finishing at the Eiffel Tower on day two.
They have so far raised more than £2,000.
“My wife’s gran suffered from Parkinson’s and it’s very upsetting to watch someone go through it,” said Richard Eldridge.
“It’s nice to be able to ride in her memory and hopefully raise money to help find a cure in the process.”
