Shopping mall near Sutton smells success with opening of scent-sational new store

The Perfume Shop, which has recently celebrated its 30th store, is set to open at the McArthur Glen East Midlands Designer Outlet in South Normanton tomorrow, Friday, December 9.

An outlet spokesman said: “Opening just in time for Christmas shopping, the iconic retailer is joining other stores in the popular location and will be offering the hottest perfume launches, celebrity fragrances and classic designer scents.

“The stylish new store is set to feature a personalised ribbon machine as well as offering The Perfume Shop’s signature expert fragrance consultations, complimentary gift wrapping and a recycling service where customers can drop off used perfume bottles to receive 10 per cent off their next purchase.”

Ten permanent jobs have been created with the store’s opening, as well as five temporary positions.

Lynne Fleming, store manager said: “We are extremely excited to welcome customers and hope they will be as excited about the new store as we are. We think our customers will love the beautiful fittings and new facilities including the personalised ribbon service, and we hope to see plenty of customers on our opening day.

“We are excited to open ahead of Christmas to help customers buy special fragrance gifts for loved ones.”

The company, one of the UK’s largest speciality retailers, is home to nearly 130 brands, from designer perfume houses to celebrity fragrances,

The new store is located at Unit 50A East Midlands Designer Outlet, Mansfield Road, South Normanton.
