The food, which was donated by shoppers at Asda, has been taken to St Mary’s and will be distributed to people who have been referred to the foodbank.
The Rotary Club’s sleigh also parked up at the supermarket, giving children the chance to meet Santa, who was also giving out sweets kindly donated by Asda.
A collection for the Rotary was held which Phil said was ‘well worthwhile’ as it too had been well supported by the public.
