Support for new businesses with Carnfield Hall Christmas Fair

Entrepreneurs can meet with other like minded business people and sell their goods to the public with a new Christmas Fair on Sunday, December 6 at Carnfield Hall, South Normaton.

After starting a new business, Spirtheart Holistic, one woman Sarah Edwards-Keelings from Blackwell, Alfeton meet with a group of other new starters but wanted to do something more.

The 32-year-old said: “Business 4 Life was so inspiring and has helped me.

“To be a new business is a scary time when you may have changed career or people don’t know about the work you do so I wanted to try and give peopel a bit of a boost this Christmas.”

So far 20 businesses have signed up for the Christmas Fair and Sarah hopes to make it annual event.

She said: “It is a chance for people to network and also for customers to see what we are about.

“I can’t believe how many people have already got involved.”
