Guy had been a student at West Notts College’s Kirkby campus, studying to be a plumber.

“He looked destined for a bright future.
“Guy was fairly quiet in class but enjoyed having a laugh and a joke when the moment was right, coming out with hilarious one-liners that would have everyone crying with laughter.
“He had some really good friends at college and he was immensely popular amongst his fellow students and staff. This leaves a massive gap in his class.
“We are all in shock. We only saw him last Friday afternoon and it just has not sunk in yet.”

“People are just shocked about it - so many knew him and Guy as well.”
