Worksop man (84) faces trial for assaulting cop

An 84-year-old Worksop man will be tried for assaulting a man and a police officer.

William Hartley, of Beverlac Court, denied both charges when he appeared at Mansfield Magistrates Court, on Friday.

The offences are alleged to have happened on September 15.

He was granted bail until December 4, on condition he doesn’t go to the Priory Centre in Worksop.
