Deji Oshilaja’s own gave Burton the lead after he was unlucky to turn home Charlie Webster’s cross. But the bigger headline to the goal was the shocking defending which saw Stags fail to clear their lines more than once in the build-up.
Burton double the lead in the 28th minute when Jack Armer headed home at the back post after no-one picked him up.
Michael Smith pulled on back just before the break after getting on the end of Nathan Mariah-Welsh’s superb cross.
Lucas Akins levelled the game on 70 minutes to set up a grandstand finish.

1. Liam Roberts - 6
Despite conceding twice it was another game where Roberts had remarkably little to do and didn’t have to make any real saves of note. Not much he could do about the goals. Photo: UGC

2. Elliott Hewitt - 5 (Replaced Knoyle at HT)
Subbed at half-time after a difficult first half in which he was caught out of position and beaten too easily on a number of occasions. Picked up a booking for a foul on Webster on 21 minutes before committing another foul that went unpunished. Photo: UGC

3. Deji Oshilaja - 7
A solid display in which he stood tall at the back and dealt with what came his way. Nothing much he could have done about his own goal after an unlucky deflection. Photo: UGC

4. Ryan Sweeney - 6
Booked for a heavy late challenge on Raphael midway through a first half in which he was occasinally found wanting. Grew into the game though and was much more solid in the second half. Photo: UGC
