Selston suffered a blow in their pursuit of Senior Division leaders Cotgrave on Saturday as they lost 4-3 at Attenborough.
Steven Smith struck twice and Perry Marriott also scored for Selston, whilst Ben Moore was shown a red card in stoppage time as mid-table Attenborough stole the points.

Hide AdThe leaders, meanwhile, were 2-1 winners over struggling Awsworth Villa for whom Channon Davis was on target.
In Division One, Underwood Villa were in fine goal scoring form as they thrashed second from bottom Magdala Amateurs 7-0 to remain in second spot, seven different goalscorers on target with Myron Duffy, Richard Hodgman, Josh Hunt, Kellym Robinson, Luke Williams, Nick Thorpe and Joe Wright all netting.
Division Two leaders Kimberley Miners Welfare AFC took a break from league matters as they were in Junior Cup action at the Shilo against Awsworth Villa Reserves and ran out 5-1 winners thanks to two goals from Ben Greenhalgh and one each from Shaw Hutchinson, John Michalski and John Whitehurst.
Mitchell Scott netted Villa’s reply.
Watnall Athletic remain second in Division Two after they won 6-3 away at FC Samba.
